Marine Online welcomes new Authorised Service Providers (ASP) at APM 2022

It was also the opportunity to strengthen relationships after a long interval

Marine Online visited Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) 2022 after the latter’s 2-year hiatus. The event focusing on shipbuilding, marine, workboat and offshore was held on 16 – 18 March 2022 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Meeting leading companies
It was a rewarding 3 days when Marine Online visited several partners who exhibited at the event. Not only were relationships strengthened, new ones were formed. A renowned marine and offshore electrical products vendor, Kelantan Electric Co. (KEC) was eager to continue the collaboration. Its affiliate, Innotrics International expressed interest in being an ASP with Marine Online.

Wendy Yap, Business Development Manager remarked, “We are extremely happy to be able to finally meet Marine Online face-to-face after a long pause. Despite COVID-19’s disruption, Kelantan Electric’s presence through Marine Online’s ASP network remains strong. We look forward to tap on new markets through the collaboration.”

Jason Marine Group, a Singapore-based listed firm specialising in radio surveys was keen on joining as an ASP. Founder Joseph Foo commented, “Jason Marine Group is always on the lookout for growth opportunities, and Marine Online is a gateway for us to do just that. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with Marine Online.”

Other than welcoming new partners, Marine Online also visited existing partners at their booths, notably bridge systems provider Alphatron Marine/JRC, and Raytheon Anshuctz, best known for marine navigation and related systems. The latter is also one of Marine Online’s best-selling brands with a flagship store in the platform’s Marine Mall.

Edmund Chik, Deputy Chief Operating Officer remarked, “The past 3 days have been nothing less than fruitful. We are grateful for the opportunity to meet our partners for the first time after COVID-19’s disruption. Apart from strengthening relationships with existing ASPs, we welcomed new partners keen on leveraging our ASP network to expand their global presence.” The exhibition and conference hosted more than 250 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions.
