SeaMed24 providing high-quality medical services for maritime crews: OCL Oceanic Catering, a marine hospitality and catering specialist, Marine Medical Solutions, provider for management, consulting and education for medical care in the maritime sector and Tritan Software Corp, provider of Health Information and Incident Management software platforms, are collaborating to launch a comprehensive medical advisory service for seafarers.

The collaboration has launched a service, called SeaMed24 to provide high-quality 24/7 health care services for maritime crews.

Backed by international health insurer Allianz Care, SeaMed24 offers medical expertise to all types of vessels, from merchants to offshore, leisure and niche expedition cruises.

Supported through Allianz Global Care Network of 900,000+ providers, SeaMed24 gives a compelling and unique turnkey solution for managing healthcare in the maritime industry.

According to The Digital Ship, the services include managing global regulatory health issues, providing expert advice for managing infectious diseases of public health concern, managing medical emergencies and conditions 24/7. Medical technology and telemedicine, Pre-employment Medical Examination, (PEME) and development of onboard medical protocols, are also included within SeaMed24.
