Repost: A 3,500 dwt bunker tanker newbuilding will be starting marine fuel delivery operations for Singapore licensed bunker supplier Central Star Marine Supplies Pte Ltd (CSM) in October, learns Manifold Times.
“The CSM Taurus arrived in Singapore during mid-September and is currently undergoing final preparations before starting commercial operations,” Chan Guo Hao, general manager of CSM, recently told the bunkering publication.
He notes an Endress+Hauser mass flow meter (MFM) has been installed on the bunker tanker which will be used to deliver marine gas oil (MGO) at the Port of Singapore.
To date, CSM operates a total of five bunker tankers ranging between 100 to 3,500 dwt in size; a majority of the vessels are engaged in delivering marine fuel to an exclusive client, amongst others, at the republic.
“In addition to a fleet of bunkering vessels, we also operate 18 road tankers and are present at various terminals and jetties as a physical supplier delivering fuel to broad based end users including construction yards,” informs Chan.
