Capitalising on Marine Online’s network to penetrate untapped markets
SINGAPORE, 27 October 2021 – The International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) climate concerns are not to be taken lightly. The body’s aim to reduce at least 40 per cent carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 2030 has gotten many members states in the industry to take action.

TECO Chemicals is also mindful of the shipping industry’s impact from the environmental health perspective, resulting in the company’s entry into supplying NaOH (Sodium Hydroxide) and UREA (AUS 40) solutions. These are widely used to reduce SOx (Sulphur Oxides) and NOx (Nitrogen Oxides) respectively. It has been 3 years since TECO Chemicals first embarked on this initiative to support a cleaner environment. Additionally, TECO Chemicals is also able to support NaOH and UREA requirements worldwide.
With technology playing an increasingly critical role in today’s business landscape, enterprises recognised the importance of digital acceleration to remain competitive. TECO Chemicals and Marine Online are pleased to announce their global partnership — appointing the latter as its official online distributor.
Mr Gaurav Saini, Managing Partner from TECO Chemicals remarked, “We are proud to collaborate with Marine Online. Through this new-found partnership, we hope to strengthen both our positions as strategic vendors in the maritime industry. TECO Chemicals is confident of the success from this strategic partnership with Marine Online, especially with our new IMO-approved MarClean range of cleaning agents.”
